Combining archive as well as new 16mm footage in a return to the techniques of Abingdon’s pioneering 1950s filmmakers, Child A is a fictional look at the not-too-distant past of British public schools. Finding a collection of old school photographs, an ex-pupil remembers his time at school, stirring deep inner turmoil.
