In Moldova, Europe’s poorest nation, one in five children grows up with either one or both parents working abroad. In this documentary, a gifted young basketball player with a Masters in Finance has to choose between leaving the country to advance his sporting career, or staying to maintain links with his family. Premiered at BFI Southbank and selected for both Raindance and the London International Documentary Film Festival in 2010/11.
